SeaCharted

SeaCharted is a dive-logging app for Cozumel divers, with a public-good twist: every logged dive — site, depth, conditions, sightings — feeds a hashtag-indexed observation database at /research that anyone can query. Log your dives for yourself; contribute to a reef-health record without doing extra work.

The species catalog covers Caribbean reef fish and inverts; the map shows every Cozumel dive site with live conditions where available; and the citizen-science side is designed so a single observation (“saw a #goliath-grouper at #paradise-reef, 2026-07-14”) is queryable across the whole community.

Shipping targets are iOS, Android, and web from the same Expo codebase.
